Access free NHS-approved self-help leaflets on topics like anxiety, low mood, anger, and sleep.
These guides can help you understand how you’re feeling and offer practical ways to cope.

Early Help provides support for children, young people, and families before small concerns become big problems.
The service can help with emotional wellbeing, relationships, behaviour, and family life.
Devon Family Advice Line

This confidential advice line offers guidance on family relationships, communication challenges, or conflict with partners or co-parents.
Experienced advisers can help you find solutions and connect with additional support if needed.
School Nursing Service (11–19s)
If you are aged 11–19 and live in Devon, you can contact your School Nurse for free, confidential advice and support via text.

A school nurse will respond within 24 hours. The service is anonymous, non-judgemental, and quick to use

School Nursing Service for Parents, Carers, and Primary-Aged Children
Parents and carers can contact the Public Health Nursing Team (which includes health visitors and school nurses) for information, guidance, and advice on a wide range of health and wellbeing needs.

The team can offer support on topics such as child development, sleep, behaviour, healthy eating, emotional wellbeing, and general family health.
You can also visit their website, which is divided into a Kids’ Zone and a Parents’ Zone, offering age-appropriate advice, useful resources, and links to local services to help you find the right support when you need it.

Speaking to Childline
If you ever feel worried, upset, or need someone to talk to, Childline is there for you.
When you call 📞 0800 1111, you’ll be connected to a trained Childline counsellor who will listen, support you, and help you find ways to feel better — about anything that’s on your mind.
You can also talk online using 1-to-1 chat with a counsellor.
🕒 All conversations are confidential, free, and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Mind Of My Own
Mind Of My Own helps children and young people express themselves and communicate with professionals such as social workers, foster carers, or support workers.
The “One” app is easy to use and works on any device - young people can download it from the website or their app store.
If they don’t have a device, they can still create an account directly via the website.
Childline
Childline offers help and advice about a wide range of issues.

Talk to Frank provides honest information and advice about drugs, their effects, and the law.

Pace (Parents Against Child Exploitation supports parents and carers of children who are — or may be — at risk of child sexual exploitation by individuals outside the family.
Pace also provides guidance and training for professionals to help safeguard young people and support affected families.
